The Ludwig Evolution 6-Piece Drum Kit in Emerald Green Sparkle is a complete, performance-ready acoustic drum set designed for intermediate and advancing drummers. Featuring durable 6-ply poplar shells, the kit delivers a warm, punchy sound with excellent projection and balanced tonal response, making it suitable for genres ranging from rock and metal to pop, funk, and contemporary worship music. Its striking neon green sparkle finish gives it a bold stage presence while maintaining the classic Ludwig aesthetic.
The kit includes a 22" x 18" bass drum that provides deep, powerful low-end punch and strong projection, two mounted rack toms measuring 10" x 8" and 12" x 9" for articulate high and mid-range tones, and two floor toms measuring 14" x 14" and 16" x 16" that add depth and thunderous resonance to fills and grooves. A matching 14" x 5" snare drum completes the shell pack, offering crisp attack, sensitivity, and versatility for both subtle ghost notes and powerful backbeats.
The drums are fitted with quality Remo drumheads and mounted using Ludwig's suspension mounting system, allowing the toms to resonate freely for improved sustain and tone. Triple-flanged steel hoops provide durability, consistent tuning stability, and a balanced feel during performance.
The cymbal package includes a pair of 14-inch planet z hi-hats, a 16-inch sabian sbr crash cymbal, and a 20-inch sabian sbr ride cymbal, providing everything needed for a full playing setup right out of the box. These cymbals offer bright, cutting tones that complement the warm sound of the drums.
